Keto Bacon Brussel Sprouts

So I made this for dinner last night as a super easy and quick meal. It only requires a few ingredients and was very filling so a win-win.

I started with Thick-Cut Bacon. I got mine from the deli close to my house where they cut it themselves and it is so thick and yummy! Any bacon will work, but the thick cut just feels heartier for a meal.

I cut the bacon up into cubes and cooked it until it was brown and crispy. I then removed the bacon from the pan and added the brussel sprouts into the bacon fat. I had cut the Brussel Sprouts in half so I placed them cut side down into the pan. I sprinkled salt and pepper and garlic powder on them. I cooked them until they started to brown and then flipped them and covered with a lid to help them soften.

Once the brussel sprouts were soft and browned (about 7 min) I added the bacon back into the pan and cooked for another minute.

These were a really easy and delicious meal for those nights when you are not too hungry, but want a hot meal that is low in carbs and high in fat!


2 cups of Brussel Sprouts cut in half

4 Thick Cut Slices of Bacon

Dash of Salt and Pepper

Dash of garlic powder


Cut Brussel Sprouts in half long ways. Cut up your bacon into cubes. Cook your bacon in a pan on medium high heat until crispy. Remove the bacon onto plate and add brussel sprouts into the pan cut side down in the bacon grease. Cook until the bottom is browned and then flip. Cover with a lid and turn down to medium heat. Cook for about 7 minutes. Check to see if the brussel sprouts are soft. When they are soft add in the bacon and cook for another minute. Serve and Enjoy :)

Makes 2 servings.
